About Spin Shot
Spin Shot puts you in charge of a cannon with a mind of its own. It sits in the middle of the screen, turning steadily, one full circle every two and a half seconds. You cannot aim it. All you control is the moment it fires.
How it works
Red squares appear at the edges and move straight towards the centre. Each tap fires one shot along the line the barrel is pointing at that instant, and a faint guide line shows exactly where that is. One hit destroys a square and scores a point.
If a single square touches the cannon, the game is over. As time passes they arrive more often and move faster.
You can fire about six shots a second, so a short burst as the barrel sweeps past is possible.
Playing it well
Deal with the nearest square first. A distant square can wait for the barrel to come round again. A close one may not survive another full turn.
Fire slightly early. The shot takes time to travel, though the squares come straight in along a line through the cannon, so they do not move sideways across your aim. What you are allowing for is your own reaction time.
Use two or three shots on a square that matters. The barrel sweeps past in a moment, and a quick double tap covers a wider angle than one.
Watch for squares arriving close behind the barrel. They have the longest wait before it returns. If two are coming, think about which one the cannon reaches next.
Do not fire constantly. Shots that miss do no harm, but watching your own stream of bullets makes the squares harder to see.
Thirty is a strong score. Among HTML5 games about aiming, this one is really about patience.
