About the arcade

TapTicket is a collection of twenty very short games. It was made for the gaps in a day: the queue, the kettle, the two minutes before a meeting. Pick a ticket, play a round, and get on with things.

The idea

Arcade machines used to hand out paper tickets for a good score. This site borrows the look and keeps the spirit: quick games, a number at the end, and a reason to have one more go. Your personal bests are printed on each ticket as you set them.

How the games are made

Every game is a small program drawn on a single canvas in your browser. They share a common look and the same start and finish screens, so once you have played one you know how they all begin. Each is controlled with one finger, and most can be played with a mouse or keyboard too.

They are deliberately short. A round of Tap Sprint is ten seconds. Odd Arrow is thirty. The endless ones tend to finish you off within a minute or two.

What it costs, and how it is paid for

Playing is free and always will be. The site may carry advertising to cover its running costs. Adverts sit in the page, away from the game area, and you can ask for non-personalised adverts when the notice appears. The privacy page has the details.

What we do not collect

There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name or email address, and we do not store your scores. They live in your browser and nowhere else.

Getting in touch
