About Fill Line
Fill Line is a game about stopping. An empty glass has a yellow line across it. Hold your finger down and it fills. Release, and the level stays where it is. The closer you are to the line, the more you score.
How it works
A round is five glasses. Each has its line at a different height, and each fills at a different speed that you are not told in advance. Some creep up. Others fill in a little over a second.
You pour once per glass. There is no topping up and no pouring back. A perfect stop scores 100, and the score falls away quickly as you miss, reaching zero when you are about a sixth of the glass out. If you never let go, the glass fills to the brim and stops there.
Your total out of 500 is shown at the end.
Playing it well
Use the first moment of each pour to judge the speed. Watch how fast the level leaves the bottom, and you will know roughly how long you have.
Release early. Your finger takes time to lift, and with a fast glass the level rises a surprising amount in that fraction of a second. If your results sit above the line, let go sooner.
Look at the line, not the liquid. Fix your eyes on the target and let the level rise into view.
A low line with a fast pour is the hardest combination, since there is almost no time to judge. Be ready before you press.
Do not chase a bad glass. Each one is scored separately, so a poor third glass has no effect on the fourth.
Four hundred is a very good round. It is one of the calmer HTML5 games here, and oddly tense.
